David Seed MRICS FAAV

David was appointed as Chairman of FBR Seed Ltd in January 2026, having previously served as Managing Director following the merger of FBR Ltd and Seed & Co. on 1 July 2019. Prior to the merger David was Managing Director of Seed & Co. David fulfils a wide and varied role within the company coordinating professional staff, liaising with clients and focussing on business development opportunities for the firm. As well as being a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Registered Valuer, an AMC Agent and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV), David plays an integral role on a number of steering group panels and policy making committees.

Away from the company, David operates a large arable contracting business spanning the Borders, Lothians & Central Scotland.
