Stewart Seed MRICS

Managing Director

Stewart has had a longstanding interest in agriculture and rural life, shaped by early involvement in his family’s farm and contract farming business. This practical foundation continues to influence his approach to land management and rural consultancy.
After completing a Masters in Land Economy at the University of Aberdeen, Stewart joined the family chartered surveying practice, Seed & Co. Now operating as FBR Seed, the business has expanded significantly over the last 12 years through mergers and acquisitions, and Stewart was recently appointed Managing Director.
His work covers a broad range of rural surveying services, including estate management, landlord and tenant matters, valuations, utilities, and renewable energy projects. He supports clients across the sector, helping them make informed and strategic long‑term decisions.
